Beautiful Hotel. Exceptional Beach. Anguilla! What could be bad ?
This was our second time in Anguilla. Last year we stayed at Zemi (which we also loved ), but at the time that we booked- we weren't sure if Zemi would be open yet.
We ended up getting a drink at Zemi one night, and it's definitely open and looking great. But back to The Manoah... the people who work at The Manoah are beyond friendly and kind. Our room was beautiful and clean.
Our view of the perfect Shoal Bay was just... perfect! The common areas & landscaping are all well maintained and very pretty. I really can't say anything bad. We ate breakfast there each morning, but all other meals were off property.
As we learned from last time, a car rental is a must. There are so many amazing restaurants & beaches on the island... so many great places to explore. We had good meals on Shoal Bay at Madeariman & Tropical Sunset... Also great meals at Straw Hat, Da'Vida, Veya, Hibernia & Sunshine Shack.
Also, a million rum punches along the way (including my favorite at Gwen's). Renting a car was so easy (Andy was great to rent from!). I would definitely recommend The Manoah if you're looking for an upscale, beautiful, but very CHILL beach hotel on Shoal Bay.
I loved the relaxed atmosphere ( even more relaxed than Zemi in my opinion ), and every single person that works there is SO NICE.
Next time we visit, we will stay next door at SBV with the kids ( more economical - same perfect beach ), but if we were traveling alone again and wanted to splurge, it would be at The Manoah.
